Making fake profiles on Facebook is proving out to be a new trend on Facebook. 20 to 30 percent of total Facebook profiles are fake or even more. And the number is increasing day by day. Mostly fake profiles on Facebook are created to spam all over Facebook and spread viruses. Mostly people create Girl's profiles to fraud or cheat some innocent Fb users.
Here are Some Tips to Identify Fake Facebook Profiles
1. Profile Picture
First thing we see on any Facebook profile is their Profile
Picture. If you find anyone suspicious in your profile the first thing you need
to do is use Revise Image Search. This will help you find out if similar
pictures are available on Internet. First download their profile picture and then
go to the Google Images click on camera icon which says Search by image click
on it and upload the image and Google will show you similar images that already
exist on internet.
2. Timeline
1. Facebook timeline
tells a lot about a person. If you think about any profile that is fake check their
timeline
2. If their photo albums
shows only one or 2 images of random celebrities then it is probably a fake
profile.
3. If the person does not
update status or if the comment on their post does not read like his real
friends or the profile does not comments on others status then it’s probably a
fake profile.
4. The "About"
tab will show you more information about the person, if "About"
tab does not show you any info about the person then this the sign that
it is a fake profile.
3. Girls Profile
1. Most fake profiles on Facebook
are with female gender and then a fake profile picture.
2. If you find a cell
phone number in contact detail then it is most likely a fake profile because
girls do not provide their cell number on Facebook.
3. If a girls profile has
lots of friends and follower then probably a fake profile.
